We offer 63 rooms and suites each of which feature their own unique character and personality, and before retiring, enjoy a complimentary glass of port at the front desk!
Please be advised that 40 percent of our guest rooms do require a flight of stairs. So that we may better serve you please let us know if you are unable to do stairs.
Complimentary Breakfast served Daily in Sisters 7am-10am. Dinner served Thursday-Monday 5pm-9pm closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Overnight guests will receive a $25 dinner credit in Sisters per night, excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please make dinner reservation when making overnight reservation, you must use this during your stay.
We offer bike-friendly rooms for $50 per night! Ask your reservationist for our bike-friendly rooms! *Not all rooms are bike-friendly. Accommodations for specific rooms must be reserved in advance.
Check-In 4PM-We guarantee check-in at 4pm, if you arrive early you are welcome to the facilities and we can hold your bags.
Check-Out 11AM-Becasue of Covid we do not allow any late check-outs.
The Martha Washington Inn is a smoke-free property. By booking a room at The Martha, you acknowledge that we are a smoke-free property and if you or anyone in your party smokes in your room, you will be charge an extra $200 smoking fee for the additional cleaning cost required.

Reservations for our Suites require cancellation 14 days prior to arrival date to avoid forfeiture of 1st night deposit.
Reservations for our Standard and Deluxe Rooms require cancellation 7 days prior to arrival date to avoid forfeiture of 1st night deposit.
Luxury Room
Each of our rooms are unique but all are tastefully decorated. Our Luxury rooms offer your choice of a queen bed or two double beds.

Deluxe Room
These are a little larger and more spacious with your choice of two Queen beds or one large King Size in each room.

Family Friendly Suite
A two bedroom apartment with a comfy king for Mom and Dad and a separate room with two queens for the heirs with a cozy space in between for a late night movie.

Speciality Suites
There are eight very charming and unique suites that gives you eight reasons to return often. In fact, several guests enjoy the fact that they've stayed in all eight of them at one time or another. If you'd like to reserve a specific suite just indicate your request at time of reservation or you can even do it online under the comments box or simply drop us an email. We'll take care of the rest!

Barter Playhouse- Suite 423
Enjoy your stay in this salute to an American Institution. Memorabilia adorns the walls and you will feel transformed to the Stage! A charming private balcony glimpsing the Barter through the trees adds to the mystique. This Suite does require you to walk one flight of stairs.
The History Nook-Suite 410
So much to tell about this remarkable building and so little space on the walls. This charming, cozy suite will whisk you back in time, but still provide all the modern conveniences! This suite does require you to walk one flight of stairs.
Dorm Room- Suite 403
College students might not have enjoyed quite the same high standards of hospitality in their dorm rooms 100 years ago, but we think you will enjoy reflecting on their time spent in this charming accommodation. This suite does require you to walk three flights of stairs.
The Reading Room- Suite 404
If you are a book lover and have to drag yourself away from the comfort of our library downstairs, you will love this suite with an eclectic collection of books, magazines and periodicals for your reading pleasure. This suite does require you to walk three flight of stairs.
The Virginian- Suite 310
Just in case you have never had the chance of exploring our remarkably beautiful state, this charming garden suite will make you want to return more often.
The Abingdon- Suite 210
Founded in 1772, the town has been around eighty years longer than the Inn, so the very least we could do was recognize our birthright with a very comfortable town suite overlooking our front lawn on Main Street, showcasing a few of the unique features of our neighbors.
Artisans & Artist- Suite 304
If you have an appreciation for art you will love the indigenous pieces we showcase in this studio suite. The collection changes seasonally to reflect themes and ideas expressed by local and regional talent.
The Potpourri- Suite 400
As you can well imagine there is little something of everything about The Martha on these walls, and a few nice surprises too! This suite does require you to walk three flights of stairs.
George's Bed 'n Parlor
Two interconnecting king salons each with a gracious sitting area in front of the fireplace. Massive high ceilings and a sense of space and dignity. The perfect suite of accommodations for the bridal party. Ask for a connecting Luxury Queen room for even more space if you want Mom close by!

Martha's Residence
He certainly never slept here, but he probably wished he had! A bold and striking suite with two fireplaces and all the creature comforts expected for the spouse of “Our” First Lady. A King bed in a suite fit for a President! An adjoining napoleonic antique deluxe bedroom makes it a perfect family home. This suite requires you to walk 1/2 flight of stairs.
